The Institutional Advancement Team at Denison is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director of Prospect Development to join the department. The college and the department are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming community for students, staff, and faculty.

This role builds strong partnerships with front-line fundraisers and prospect development colleagues in developing strategic recommendations and approaches for prospects at various points of the donor cycle. This individual will work independently as lead prospect management advisor for an assigned portfolio of fundraisers.

A successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years demonstrated experience in prospect development, prospect research, fundraising, or commensurate experience.  The candidate must have problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.  In addition, the candidate must exercise discretion in working with confidential information.  The ideal candidate will have experience with RENXT, Raiser’s Edge, FPM, IWave, or LiveAlumni.  We highly encourage applications from candidates who are historically under-represented in Higher Education to apply.
