This position would require the individual to be based out of our corporate office in Westerville or one of our locations in the Cleveland, Toledo or Cincinnati areas.

What you’ll do

You’re no stranger to developing a portfolio of prospective major and planned giving donors and developing short and long-range plans to ensure fundraising expectations are met, then leading your team to do the same. Partnering with the Chief Development Officer, you will create and implement specific campaign strategies to secure sources of charitable gifts. We will look to you to serve as an external spokesperson for the Foundation’s missions and goals, while fostering, developing and maintaining relationships with company leaders, board members, volunteers, prospects, donors, residents, and beyond.

 

What it takes

  • Five years experience supervising major gift officers required
  • Ten years experience in fundraising program management preferred
  • Ten years experience in direct donor solicitation required
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
