Take a SPIN – September Personal Interactive Networking
With over 325 members in our chapter, networking continues to rank as one of our top benefits as it is key to developing relationships. Sometimes the best resource is another development professional fundraiser. Experienced or new, AFP member or guests, join us for this pre-luncheon session, September Personal Interactive Networking. Taking a spin around the room and meet your fellow fundraising colleagues. Bring plenty of business cards and exchange information. (It was so successful we’ve been asked to do it again!)

#GivingTuesday: Harness the Energy of This Global Movement & Shake Up Your Year-End Fundraising Efforts
#GivingTuesday is not a random occurrence nor is it a fad. It is a social media movement inspiring people to come together and give back. Falling on the Tuesday after consumer-frenzy Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday has inspired a national day of giving and is transforming how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. The value and impact it is having on nonprofits is without question and it is here to stay!
Michelle Cramer, CFRE, Cramer & Associates will share information on #GivingTuesday’s remarkable growth and various ways in which nonprofits can benefit by launching a #GivingTuesday campaign of their own.. She will then lead a panel including Robyn Hoffman, Marburn Academy, Director of Institutional Advancement, Katie P. Matney, The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio, Director of Development, and Gretchen Colon, Lakeside Chautauqua, V.P. Advancement & Communications. Panelists will share how they planned and executed their successful #GivingTuesday campaigns and the positive results.
