“The Psychology of Giving”

People are complicated!  How can we understand what they bring to the table and what they consider when thinking about making a gift?  We will explore what will untangle donor motivations, emotions, attitudes – and how people make decisions – to give you a framework you can use to understand your donors.

Presented by:

Bill Bartolini, Ph.D., ACFRE, and Nancy Koerner, J.D.

Noon – 1:15PM  Lunch Program open to AFP and COPGC Members and Guests

“Asking With Confidence”

Asking for money can be exhilarating – and it can be frightening, too!  That’s why it’s best to have a plan.  Join us for this engaging and interactive session where we come face-to-face with major gift and planned gift asks.  We’ll explore the how to know when to ask, preparing for the ask, making it, and how to keep the discussion going if you don’t get the answer you had hoped for.

Presented by:

Bill Bartolini, Ph.D., ACFRE, and Nancy Koerner, J.D.
