Breaking Down the Silos: Grow Your Appreciation of The Whole Team

Whether managing data integrity, conducting wealth analysis, crafting annual fund messaging, or making in person solicitations, every member of the Development Department brings expertise to the team.  Each of us has built some expertise in fundraising, so come and teach your peers what you know as well as learn from your AFP colleagues in this interactive session.

Education and Diversity & Inclusion have teamed up to present this highly-interactive session to workshop real-world fundraising scenarios. Grouped by similar job function, participants will tackle questions as a team and share their results. Walk a mile in your colleagues’ shoes and gain real world applications for improving your own work. Discover how each role impacts the donor experience while gaining deeper awareness and appreciation of your whole team.

Themes of access and inclusion – both for staff and for donors – will be interwoven in the workshop.
