2025 Call for Proposals

We are thrilled with our 2024 Monthly Education Programs and want to keep looking towards the horizon. We are looking to get a head start on our monthly series for next year by opening up our RFP!

AFP Central Ohio invites experienced speakers to submit proposals or presenter suggestions for a dynamic and educational speaker’s series. Our objective is to enhance the skills and knowledge of our fundraising professionals through monthly training sessions, thereby empowering them to achieve excellence in their fundraising endeavors.

A presentation may attract those early in their career, those who have been in the profession for many years, or both! Recently, Donor Relations Coordinators, Grants Specialists, Annual Fund Managers, Executive Directors, and Chief Advancement Officers have been in attendance at our events. We believe that continuous learning and professional development are key to our success, and we are committed to providing our team with the best resources to thrive in the competitive field of fundraising.

A speaker (or speakers) should be prepared to submit:

  • A brief bio highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
  • A summary of the proposed presentation topic(s).
  • A description of the presentation format and interactive elements.
  • Availability for the upcoming 12 months.
  • A fee schedule for services, if applicable

We are looking for presenters to cover topics in or related to:

  • Current and Prospective Donor Research
  • Securing the Gift
  • Relationship Building
  • Volunteer Involvement
  • Leadership and management
  • Ethics, Accountability, Professionalism
  • Advanced fundraising methods and techniques
  • Senior-level or Executive management strategies
  • Donor Psychology
  • Legal aspects of fundraising
  • The role of A.I. in Fundraising
  • New technology and trends
  • Anything we may not have listed that you or someone you recommend would provide that would be beneficial!

Additional Information:

  • Applicants are not guaranteed a speaking spot; RFPs will be reviewed by the Monthly Education committee which will consider: relevance of propsed topic, innovativeness and interactivity of the presentation approach, and other criteria.
  • All monthly programs will be submitted for CFRE credit.
