August 29 – The Big Table – Continuing our conversation about Implicit Bias

Thank you for your participation in the April 2018 AFP Implicit Bias program.
Many of our participants have asked for a follow-up opportunity and we are thrilled to announce our next Diversity & Inclusion session.  The program will be held as part of The Big Table, sponsored by The Columbus Foundation.
Dear << Test First Name >>,

In April, Emory University’s Dr. Lynell Cadray challenged us to recognize our implicit associations and unconscious bias.  While she was insightful and thought-provoking, many of you asked for more – more workshops, more conversations and further exploration into how we can each move past our own bias.

Certainly issues around diversity, inclusion, access and equity cannot be resolved in a single 90-minute workshop. The work requires ongoing discussion, action and reflection. And, we’re thrilled so many AFP members want to meet this challenge head on.

Join us for The Big Table as we continue the conversation and explore ways we, as fundraisers, can improve our communities through diversity and inclusion.
