“Cocktails and Calamities”

In every fundraising professional’s life, there comes a time when best intentions go awry.  An event flopped.  An angry major donor threatened never to give to your organization again.  A colleague or board member misrepresents data that puts you in an awkward position.

What do you do?

You attend this year’s event in July, filled with social and educational time, laughter and stories. You’ll have the chance to learn from professional fundraisers on how they handled their own calamity situation, and pick up some great tips for how to deal with any that come your way.

Our distinguished seasoned professionals scheduled to share their lessons learned include:

Chris Baker, CFRE

Carmen Boy

Carrie Burson, CFRE

Jessica Grisez, CFRE

Erich Hunker

Terri Rowe

Cheryl Smoot

Donna Zuiderweg

Beginning with a TED talk format, you’ll hear a one-minute teaser from each. Then you’ll get to choose three of the presenters to find out “the rest of the story” during rotating roundtable discussions.

For just $5, the appetizers and a two drinks are on us – as long as you pre-register by July 6 to let us know you’ll be there.  Cash bar for the rest of the evening.
