Directions

Having a clear sense of direction, goals, and a voice in planning are all important factors to recruiting and retaining staff.  In this practical, nuts-and-bolts session for senior practitioners, Jodi Bopp, CFRE, will share how creating a workplan at the beginning of the year can help your staff and your organization plan for success throughout the year and become an evaluation tool at year’s end.  Jodi is the Assistant Vice President for University Advancement at Ohio Wesleyan University, where she supervises thirteen people and provides oversight for five divisions that make up the OWU development program.  OWU Director of Alumni Relations Katie Webster and OWU Director of Annual Giving Miranda Zink will join Jodi and talk about how they use the workplan tool.

Come prepared to learn and share your own best practices for setting goals and evaluating staff.

Registration is open ONLY TO CURRENT AFP MEMBERS; $10 per person and space is limited (maximum 40 people); beverages and snacks will be provided.
