What You’ll Do
Working as a member of the Major Gifts team, the Major Gifts Officer will manage a portfolio of 100-120 individuals with capacity to make gifts of $5k+ of mostly newly identified grateful patient prospects and proactive prospects. The philanthropy officer will contribute to the team’s fundraising goals by qualifying major gift prospects, moving prospects through all stages of the donor cycle, developing compelling gift opportunities, making successful asks and closes, and partnering with providers and internal leaders to engage AHF donors.
Required Education Degree: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Education: Advanced degree
Required Experience: 5+ years of successful major gifts development experience
Preferred Experience: 10+ years of successful major gifts development experience
