Job Description Summary:

The Sr. Philanthropy Database Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and cultivating all data and reporting needs, and data strategy for the OhioHealth Foundation. They serve as the subject matter expert for the database and use of best practices.

Functions include, but are not limited to:

• Managing data integrity for the Foundation.
• Continuing to drive efficiencies within existing (and new) business practices by leveraging technical knowledge of the available tools and processes.
• Creating data structures and strategies to support foundation’s evolving needs.
• Producing timely and relevant data analysis.
• Creating and maintaining a variety of simple and complex reports using multiple tools, such as Power BI, Access, Crystal etc.
o Expanding and building upon the Foundations current dashboards.
o Creating custom reports to report monthly performance metrics.
o Creating Ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Proactively meeting with Foundation staff to build relationships and review data needs.
• Importing and exporting data as well as pulling accurate data lists.
• Presenting complex findings and data in a clear and concise manner, in written, visual and verbal formats with a sharpened focus on data story telling.
• Performing database trainings, maintain training materials and ensuring comprehension with Foundation team members.
• Working with outside vendors and internal technical resources in the design and implementation of the database.
