Anyone who was at the May AFP pre-luncheon session will know that I was the lucky winner of the presenter’s book – The ASK, by Laura Fredericks, JD.  I’m still in the process of reading it, but it has proven to be really insightful and thought provoking – giving me tangible, easily implemented tactics. So I thought I’d plan to share a 5-minute summary of the book and key points I’ve learned from it.

What about you?  Have you read a good professional book or article recently (or not so recently) that has helped improve your fundraising skills?  Think about it and if so, please come prepared to talk for 5 minutes about the key takeaway from it.  And be sure you have the actual name of the book and article, so that if some of us leave motivated to read it, we can track it down.
